Record Filters

A record filter is an expression or set of expressions that you can create, so that a record set only displays records that meet certain conditions. For example, when you filter a set of Request for Information (RFI) records, you can write a record filter that only returns records that were submitted on a specific date, records that impacted the schedule, or both.

When you create a record filter, you write an expression that compares the contents of a field (a data group column) with a specified value. Creating record filter expressions works the same way in all forms. A record filter as a whole can consist of multiple expressions.

This is an example of a record filter that consists of a single expression: Request for Information.Amount > 500
