Report Options

The Options Tab contains many optional settings that may be applied to the report. The following options are available:

• Project Name: Display the Project Name in the report.
• Project Address: Display the Project Address in the report.
• System Footer: Include the standard System Footer in the report.
• User-Defined report footer: Include customer text in the report footer. Enter the custom text in the field below.
• Description: Display the description of the report in the report.
• Filter Statement: Include the filter statement, if any, in the report.
• System Currency Symbol: Indicate that any currency values in the report will be preceded with your system’s currency symbol.
• Currency Decimal: Specify the number of decimal places for currency values in the report.
• Apply Margins: (Left, Top, Right, Bottom): Select the check box to set custom margins (in inches) in the Left, Top, Right, and Bottom fields.
• Format: Select the report format from the following options:
  • Enhanced: Produce reports that use graphics and advanced formatting for a more visually appealing look to the report, including color bands and shading. Most laser, ink-jet and bubble-jet printers have few problems with quickly printing reports in the Enhanced format.
  • General: Produce reports with orderly data but without graphics or intensive formatting. Lines are used in place of color bands. This format is ideal for rapid printing, printing on less sophisticated printers, and faxing reports.
  • Plain: Generate reports using minimal formatting that can be easily exported to a Web site as HTML. No color is used and no lines are used in place of color bands.
  • Include total page count in footer: Include the total number of pages in the page count in the footer of the report.
  • Include Pictures in Report: Includes pictures that are linked to records via the Files tab (External File links). The image file types that are currently supported include: .jpg, .bmp, .tif, .png.
• Use Report Header Logo: Display the Project’s Logo in the header of the report.
• User Page Header Logo: Display the Project’s Logo in the page header of each page on the report.
