BCF Viewer

Prolog Converge includes a document viewer that you can use to view and provide feedback for BIM Collaboration Format (BCF) files.

The BIM Collaboration Format (BCF) allows you to view a two-dimensional snapshot image of a 3D model as it is displayed, along with 1 or more comment threads (called topics). A camera angle and position is associated with each image and can be used for automatic navigation back to the same position and angle within the model.The snapshot image, the associated data and discussion threads are stored in a ZIP folder in the BCF format.

Each BCF file contains the following files:

• A 2-dimensional snapshot image of the BIM model (.png format)
• An XML representation of a set of threaded comments and project information (.bcf format)
• An XML representation of the camera position, direction etc. (.bcfv format).
