Submittal Transmittal
Use the Submittal Transmittal form to create cover sheets for your submittal package transmittals, and to track sent submittal packages. Submittal transmittals differ from regular transmittals in that they are used specifically to accompany submittal packages.
Note: You can select only one submittal package for each submittal transmittal you create. To create a cover sheet that references more than one submittal package, use the Transmittals and Correspondence Log form.
To create a submittal transmittal
- On the View menu, click Document Control > Submittal Transmittals, and then select a view.
- Click .
- Enter the following information:
- Date*: Today's date is automatically entered. To select a different date, click on the drop-down menu and select it from the calendar. This is a required field.
- Reference Number: Enter a reference number for the submittal transmittal record. Alternatively, click Next to get the next available number.
- Submittal Number: Click the search button to select the submittal package that you want to send with this submittal transmittal. For information on how to search for a submittal package, see "Searching for Records".
- Submittal Package Description: After selecting a submittal package, its description is automatically added to this box.
- To save the changes and keep the form open, click > Save.
