Calculating Earned Production Hours

You can track the number of hours that has actually been completed.

The Contract Invoices Hours box displays the sum of the production hours for all contract invoice items with the active budget code. However, if you track self-performed work in a prime contract, the hours from the invoices do not include any time spent for self-performed work. If your company completes producing/completing work for this budget code, then you need to add the amount of time expended by your company.

To include additional expended hours

1. In the Budget form, click the Time tab.
2. In the Additional Expended Hours box, type the number of additional hours spent by your company or other companies that is not included in contract invoices.
• The Hours to Date are updated by adding the Contract Invoice Hours to the Additional Expended Hours.
• The Hours to Complete are updated by subtracting the Hours to Date from the Projected Hours.
3. To save the changes and keep the form open, click > Save.
